"Sponsor of Happy Endings - Completed Antibiotic Course": Arterium Continues Information Campaign on Proper Antibiotic Use
Arterium Corporation, in collaboration with MEGOGO, has launched a special project titled "Sponsor of Happy Endings - Completed Antibiotic Course," aimed at reminding Ukrainians about one of the key rules of taking medications. We draw consumers' attention to the importance of proper antibiotic use through a free selection of films with happy endings. After all, a happy ending is possible not only in movies but also in life if antibiotics are taken correctly. Every year, we inform people on how to do this responsibly, so as not to harm either themselves or society, on the "Antibiotics by the Rules" website https://www.antibacterium.com.ua/ There, you can also learn about antibiotic resistance, its dangers, and how everyone can help prevent it.
Every year in the USA, there are over 2.8 million cases of antibiotic-resistant infections, resulting in more than 35,000 deaths. Scientists have already identified 18 antibiotic-resistant bacteria, and their number continues to grow. Only the rational use of antibiotics can delay resistance and buy time to develop new drugs. Arterium cares about the lives and health of people by also informing about the proper, responsible use of medications. Arterium has the largest portfolio of antimicrobial agents in Ukraine by the number of molecules of different classes and is the leader in the segment of antimicrobial agents for systemic use in the retail market of Ukraine. "Since Arterium's antibiotics are the most consumed in Ukraine, we feel that we can and should not only provide patients with quality medicines but also join efforts with doctors to ensure that Ukrainians use antibiotics responsibly: only as prescribed by a doctor and following the treatment regimen," said Oksana Stefanova, Head of Public Relations at Arterium.
