National Children’s Specialised Hospital “Okhmatdet” receives assistance from the Arterium Corporation
On New Year’s Eve Arterium donated diagnostic equipment to the Okhmatdet Department of Intensive and Efferent Treatment of Acute Intoxication. This is an ultrasound machine from the world leader in the manufacturing of diagnostic equipment which allows for a high level of patient examination. “The use of a device of this class in intensive care is a vital necessity. Placing catheters for dialysis and adjusting treatment parameters taking into account the received data on the state of internal organs, timely identification of complications and dynamic control – all this can now be carried out faster and better. Returning after kidney or liver failure back to a healthy life is like a second birthday. And the ultrasound machine is, if not a map, then at least a compass or a ray of light along the way,” commented Alexander Aleksandrovich Urin, the Head of the intensive care unit for acute intoxication.
