Tenders for Tuberculosis Programme
On the 23rd of October 2014, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine opened envelopes with commercial offers for the Tuberculosis Programme. PJSC Kievmedpreparat, a socially responsible company, understands the current situation in Ukraine and offers Capreomycin 1.0g at UAH 62, VAT included. This is 35% lower than the price at which the Ministry purchased Capreomycin in 2013 (UAH 95). Therefore, if this offer is accepted by the Ministry, it will save about UAH 11 million of budget funds. PJSC Kyivmedpreparat meets any and all major requirements set forth by the Public Procurement Law of Ukraine. Arterium Corporation hopes that no bureaucratic process or additional requirement to tender documents in excess to those prescribed by the Law will prevent the Tender Committee to adopt a well-balanced decision and meet the basic requirement of the Public Procurement Law of Ukraine i.e. to promote competitive environment in public procurement, to save public funds as far as possible and to provide high-quality anti-tuberculosis drugs produced domestically at socially responsible prices.
