Arterium’s new plant product to treat common colds

In September 2014, Arterium Corporation launched its new product in Ukraine – Resistol. This drug is indicated for common colds and has a demonstrated efficacy for acute and chronic infections of airways and nasopharynx, bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, and rhinopharyngitis.
Resistol is a plant product produced from roots of a unique plant – Pelargonium. This plant originates from South Africa where it was traditionally used by Zulu witches to treat common colds. Today, Pelargonium-based products are prescribed by doctors in more than 35 countries to treat acute respiratory infections and bronchitis.
Resistol is efficient for diseases of both viral and bacterial origin because of its triple mode of action.
Resistol has:
· antiviral action to fight against viruses and bacteria from the onset of a disease;
· antibacterial action to stop growth of bacteria which are already present in a human body and prevent exacerbations;
· immunomodulating action to activate immunodefences to quickly suppress viral infection.
Resistol is approved for children over 1 year old. Resistol quickly relieves the symptoms such as cough, thick mucus, general malaise, fever and runny nose, and substantially shortens the duration of disease.
Resistol is a natural protection from infections for the whole family.
Resistol was developed by Galychpharm R&D Centre. The development was started in 2012. Resistol is produced on the up-to-date European equipment by the manufacturing site certified as GMP compliant facility.
Resistol is available as drops.
